We fixed 60 pets for free in 3 days

Our 2025 Fix Yuh Pets 4 Free clinic was a huge milestone for animal welfare on Bequia.

In just 3 mornings, we spayed and neutered 60 dogs and cats — including none other than Max, the island’s most notorious impregnator of stray dogs. (Max is now officially retired from his romantic adventures.)

A huge thank you to the Caribbean Spay Neuter team. They worked tirelessly, stayed patient with every animal and owner, and managed to fit in with our small island way of doing things. We made a strong team, and we’re already planning the next clinic together for 2026.

Another big thank you goes to The Learning Center for hosting us (at the last minute) and giving us a space to run a busy clinic. Also, a shoutout to D'Original Southie Doubles and Dechill Spot for providing food for the team and to animal owners getting their pets fixed!

And to the people of Bequia, thank you for showing up for your animals and supporting this cause. This work only happens when the community gets behind it.

There's more progress ahead, and we're super excited to hopefully run this event again in 2026.

Now, we turn our attention to the dogs that currently call The Chappy House home and providing care for dogs around Bequia.
